Overview: The Hampton Cable Survey issued an online survey from January 30, 2019 through February 27, 2019 to garner opinions of subscribers and non-subscribers in Hampton, NH regarding the quality of service provided by Comcast as part of reviewing the contractual agreement between Comcast and the Town of Hampton. A total of 506 participant provided feedback via the survey via both online and paper forms. The survey was advertised on the Hampton Cable Station 22, the Town of Hampton website, and via social media targeted at Hampton residents. Ninety-five percent (95%) of participants stated they were year-round residents of Hampton.
Of survey participants, 87% utilized Comcast for cable TV. Of the 13% not utilizing Comcast, over a third responded that cost was one of their reasons for not using the service. The full results of the survey, including all 1,296 comments, are available at:
