DPW has secured a start date with Brox Industries to complete the milling and paving of RT. 1 (Lafayette Road) between High Street and Park Avenue (the State maintenance line). This work will begin Monday April 27th.
Our intentions are to keep one lane open and will be setting up detours as necessary. We expect there to be long delays. Please pass this information along. We advise anyone who can avoid travelling in this work area, to do so. The work is expected to take 1-2 weeks and will be completed during the day.
