[ARCHIVED] Food Waste and other Composting Materials now able to be brought to Transfer Station

Food Waste Mr Fox. Composting

The Town of Hampton has contracted with Mr. Fox Composting to collect food waste and other compostable materials for composting!  Town Residents may bring compost material (no more than 5 gallon pails/buckets), for no charge, to the Transfer Station to be disposed of in dedicated barrels which will be collected by Mr. Fox Composting and processed off-site for reuse. This educational material for Food Composting can be used to help understand what can and cannot be brought to the Transfer Station for to be composted.   What a better way to reduce waste and the landfill space it takes to dispose of it.  The Town will save on disposal costs and as a whole we will reduce our carbon footprint.
