Parks & Facilities
Playgrounds are now opened as of July 1, 2020. The Town wants to make it clear that these playgrounds not regularly cleaned, so play at your own risk. There is appropriate signage at the playgrounds reminding visitors of this as well as CDC recommendations while visiting playgrounds.
This applies to playgrounds owned by the Town of Hampton, the school playgrounds operate under the guidance of the SAU.
The Hampton Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for several playgrounds, ballfields, courts, parks and two beaches. Below are the facilities the Hampton Parks and Recreation department maintains.
Most of the beaches in Hampton are owned and maintained by the State of New Hampshire. Questions about their use, parking, and cleanliness should be referred to the State.
