The Engineering division is responsible for the implementation of a variety of capital improvement projects, such as roadway redesign, sewer, and drain projects and sidewalk management. In addition, the division also reviews site and subdivision plans for proposed projects, manages the bid process for capital purchases for the Public Works Department and provides technical support to other Town departments.
Asset Management Program
The Town of Hampton has implemented an Asset Management Program which assists the department with service requests, work orders, inspection tracking, and asset condition assessment. The goal of this program is to use the information gathered to proactively manage the Town’s assets.
