The mission of the Human Resources Department is to attract, select, and retain a capable workforce and to administer the policies, rules, and legal requirements related to employment with the Town of Hampton in a manner that is just and unbiased. We strive to provide services that promote a work environment that is characterized by open communications, personal accountability, trust, and mutual respect.

Our goal is to place the highest value on the fair and equitable treatment of every applicant and employee regardless of race, color, religion, age, sex, marital status, disability, ancestry, national origin, or veteran status. We can achieve this by keeping abreast of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations as they pertain to NH municipalities and aspire to make sure that our HR policies and practices meet these requirements.
